The AniBee idea

The first five years are not a rehearsal.

AniBee Preschools grew out of Dr. Beena Pinto’s work in early childhood education — more than a decade spent running preschools and training both teachers and children. AniBee is a unit of the Lilanibee Education Trust, imagined as a sanctuary for young minds where learning sits comfortably beside mindfulness and Vedic values.

Our BTM Layout campus keeps that promise close to home: a small, warm setting where children are known by name, not by roll number.

Read our story

Happiness Quotient first

Because safe, healthy and happy children are the ones who are actually ready to learn. We watch mood as carefully as milestones.

Entirely play-based

Motor skills and emotional readiness are built through play, not worksheets. Structure sits underneath; the child only sees the fun.

Stage, not just age

Following current NEP thinking, we place each child in the programme that matches their developmental readiness — not only their birthday.

Mindfulness & Vedic values

Stillness, gratitude and simple breathing rituals sit alongside phonics and numbers — a quiet counterweight to a noisy world.

Programmes

Four steps from first hello to school-ready.

Our early years path is shaped to international standards for what a child actually needs at each stage — and it ends with a UKG year designed to close the gap to primary school.

Full curriculum
Step 01

Playgroup

Around 1.8 – 2.5 years

The gentle first separation. Sensory trays, music and movement, messy play and lots of lap-time storytelling while your child learns that school is a safe place.

  • Settling in with gentle integration
  • Gross motor & sensory play
  • First words, rhymes & routines
Step 02

Nursery

Around 2.5 – 3.5 years

Curiosity gets organised. Children move from parallel play into real friendships, and start naming the world — colours, shapes, sounds, feelings.

  • Sharing, turn-taking, empathy
  • Pre-writing & fine motor control
  • Phonic sounds & number sense
Step 03

LKG

Around 3.5 – 4.5 years

The thinking year. Projects run across days, questions get followed to the end, and children begin to explain their reasoning out loud.

  • Reading readiness & blending
  • Early maths through materials
  • Multi-sport fundamentals
Step 04

UKG

Around 4.5 – 5.5 years

The bridge year. Built specifically to close the gap to primary school — soft skills, clear articulation and the confidence to stand up and speak.

  • Public speaking & show-and-tell
  • Independent work habits
  • Big-school readiness

Age bands are indicative. Placement follows your child’s developmental stage, which we assess together during your visit.

Daycare at BTM

Working late? Your child is still having a good day.

Six ways to shape the day around your family — because a 6 p.m. release from a Silk Board jam should not cost your child a calm evening.

  • Full day

Preschool session flows straight into care, right through to 6 p.m.

  • Half day

A shorter afternoon for children easing into longer hours.

  • Assisted care

A dedicated nanny for children who need closer, one-to-one support.

  • Hourly, on demand

For the meeting that overran and the day that did not go to plan.

  • Flexible plan

Pick your days. Useful for hybrid weeks and rotating shifts.

  • Weekend care

Available on request, so a Saturday deadline is not a crisis.

Why parents in BTM choose us

Six things we refuse to compromise on.

A low ratio, kept low

Roughly one teacher to ten children, so a teacher can be a mentor rather than a crowd-controller, and can follow each child’s personality.

Safety you can watch

CCTV throughout with live video access for parents, background-verified staff, a guard at the gate and strict entry and exit protocols.

Sanitised, not over-sanitised

High-touch surfaces cleaned daily — and mud, sand and outdoor play left firmly intact, so natural immunity has a chance to build.

Gentle integration

Shy or anxious children are allowed to watch from the edge until they feel safe. Nobody is pushed into the circle. Quiet children find their voice on their own timeline.

Sport from the start

Multi-sport fundamentals introduced early — balance, coordination, throwing, catching — plus weekly fun and sports days that children genuinely look forward to.

Fresh food, real rest

Freshly prepared meals, a proper nap corner, air-conditioned and well-ventilated rooms, first-aid trained staff and safe indoor play spaces.

A day in the hive

Predictable rhythm. Unpredictable joy.

Young children settle when they know what comes next. Here is roughly how a preschool morning runs — with daycare carrying the afternoon through to six.

  1. 9:00 AM

    Welcome, wash-up & circle time

Greetings at the door, a hand-wash routine, then a circle of songs, the weather, and who is here today. Shy children are welcome to just watch.

  2. 9:45 AM

    Guided learning blocks

Phonics, number sense and language, delivered through materials and games. Small groups rotate so nobody waits their turn for long.

  3. 11:00 AM

    Snack, then move

A fresh snack, followed by gross motor and multi-sport play — balance, coordination, throwing and catching, and the joyful business of running.

  4. 12:15 PM

    Art, stories & stillness

Crafts, painting and pottery, a story on the mat, and a few minutes of guided breathing — the mindfulness thread that runs through every AniBee day.

  5. 1:00 PM onward

    Lunch, nap & daycare afternoon

For daycare children the day continues: a warm lunch, a real nap, then free play, music and movement, colouring and quiet corners until pick-up.

From our parents

“She actually rushes in at drop-off.”

The environment is professional and welcoming, and I never worry about her safety. Drop-off used to be a battle — now she is the one rushing in.

The patience the teachers show is something else. They care for the children as their own, and the weekly fun and sports activities keep the kids genuinely motivated.
Parent of a Playgroup child BTM Layout 2nd Stage
A very nice place for kids. The teachers and staff are cooperative, and we have seen a clear improvement in our son’s speech and confidence. Easily the best preschool in BTM for us.
